In southern Brittany, Bénodet charms visitors with its family atmosphere, marina and beaches facing the Glénan Islands. In Carnac, long stretches of golden sand rub shoulders with the famous alignments of standing stones, while La Trinité-sur-Mer attracts sailing enthusiasts. Pénestin, on the southern edge of Morbihan, offers a rugged coastline and golden cliffs, ideal for seaside walks.

Several campsites stand out, such as the five-star L'Escale Saint-Gilles in Bénodet, just a stone's throw from the sea, and the four-star Le Moustoir in Carnac, appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to the beaches.

Further north, the Côtes-d'Armor reveal some of Brittany's most iconic landscapes. Perros-Guirec, with its pink granite coastline and sheltered beaches, is a must-see resort. In Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, you can alternate between swimming, sailing and walks to Cap Fréhel. The more discreet Pléneuf-Val-André boasts Belle Époque villas and a large sandy beach, while Erquy combines a fishing port, cliffs and secret coves.

In northern Finistère, villages such as Saint-Pol-de-Léon and Carantec, facing Morlaix Bay, offer a peaceful, maritime setting, ideal for camping by the sea.

The southern coast of Brittany is also distinguished by its accessible peninsulas and islands, which offer a wide variety of maritime scenery. The Quiberon peninsula, with its wild coastline battered by the winds on one side and its peaceful bay on the other, is a prime destination for nature lovers. Nearby, Plouharnel charms visitors with its unspoilt atmosphere, beaches, dunes and megalithic remains.

Further east, the Gulf of Morbihan reveals a labyrinth of islands, coves and coastal paths. You can explore the Île aux Moines and Île d'Arz by boat and discover a living maritime heritage. The port of Vannes, the salt marshes and the paths of Séné and Arzon appeal to hikers and boaters alike.

Some destinations in Brittany offer exceptional panoramic views. The Pink Granite Coast reveals its most beautiful views in Perros-Guirec, where pink granite blocks sculpted by erosion form a unique landscape dotted with beaches where you can go paddleboarding or swimming. In Carantec, family-friendly beaches border Morlaix Bay, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Near Mont-Saint-Michel, the tides reveal spectacular stretches of coastline, ideal for shellfish gathering and long walks along the coastal path.

Campsites such as Le Ranolien***** in Perros-Guirec and Les Mouettes***** in Carantec allow you to enjoy these natural settings to the full, while benefiting from high-quality services.

With its coastline facing both the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, Brittany is home to some of France's most beautiful beaches: wild coves on the Pink Granite Coast, large family beaches in Carnac and the vast landscapes of Audierne Bay.

Water sports and family activities, at sea and at the campsite

With its rugged coastline, accessible waters and steady winds, Brittany is an ideal campground for water sports. Sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and sand yachting can be enjoyed in most resorts, whether you are a beginner or an experienced enthusiast. In the south, the sailing clubs in Fouesnant and Bénodet offer courses. Further north, Saint-Cast-le-Guildo and Perros-Guirec also offer excellent conditions for beginners or families.

Many campsites offer kids' clubs, entertainment and access to water sports centres, with equipment hire sometimes available on site.
