What to see in France

Camping on the Pink Granite Coast

Discover one of the most beautiful sites in the north of Brittany, for an invigorating and very touristic holiday. Around Perros-Guirec, superb fine sandy beaches animate a very indented coastline, dotted with islands, lighthouses and typical ports. Sculpted by erosion, astonishing and spectacular pink rocks contrast with the blue of the sky and the sea.

Not far from Morlaix and Guingamp, this unique destination in the Côtes d'Armor is located about 12 kilometres north of the historic city of Lannion. In the Trégor region, the Pink Granite Coast reveals its wonders over more than thirty kilometres. Why not discover them during your next holiday at a campsite near the Pink Granite Coast?

A paradisiacal setting

Between the islands, the water takes on the turquoise colour of the lagoons. As in Perros-Guirec, where remarkable villas, nestled in a lush cornice, overlook the beach of Trestraou. A few minutes by boat are enough for you to go and admire the thirty or so species of birds which enjoy themselves in the nature reserve of the Seven Islands archipelago. Further west, Ploumanac'h, curls up in a magnificent rocky bay. The customs officers' path allows you to observe a large concentration of pink rocks with unusual and phantasmagorical shapes.

Megaliths and entertainment

Inland, the deep valley of the Traouïero is deep into a wooded area, rich in about fifty plant species. Neolithic stones stand out almost everywhere, with in particular the large Christianised menhir of Saint-Uze, or the dolmen and the covered lane of Kergentuil.

Trégastel boasts no less than 12 beaches, including the Marine Aquarium, set in pink granite coastal caves.

A white radome marks the large leisure complex of Pleumeur-Bodou, with planetarium, Gallic village, fun and interactive science and telecommunications museum, behind the scenes of the digital world, sound and light show.

From Trébeurden to Lannion

Between the panoramic tip of Bihit and the natural area of the Quellen marshland, the tourist resort of Trebeurden offers you dunes, beaches, a marina and some typical historical residences.

From the Pink Granite Coast, going up the river Leguer, take a trip to Lannion, which has preserved some half-timbered houses and the church of Brélévenez perched above a picturesque staircase of 142 steps.

Campsites of the pink granite coast

More than thirty good addresses are listed in the sector. In Perros-Guirec there is the very high standard of the Le Ranolien campsite *****, open from April to September. With its direct access to the sea, it has an aquatic area, a large spa, close to more than 40 rentals and a hundred or so pitches. A little further east, the Le Mat campsite is also located on the beach, with almost 150 rentals and pitches, heated swimming pool, from April to September.
