What to see in France

Païolive Wood

Located at the foot of the Cévennes and in the south of the Ardèche, the Païolive wood is a forest like no other.

Discover the Païolive wood during your camping holiday

A wood made of stones. Over 16 km², petrified limestone rocks shaped by the wind, sun and rain form a labyrinth of natural sculptures. Signposted paths such as the Virgin's path, the Corniche path and the Loop path allow walkers to be immersed in this supernatural setting without getting lost. You may recognise lions, elephants, turtles and other creatures in these stone trees, which will serve the imagination of everyone.

Moreover, the Païolive wood is a remarkable natural area and has an exceptional biodiversity (trees, flora, fauna).
