Between the domes of the Massif Central and the great plain of Languedoc, the Cévennes is a mountainous region dominated by two summits, Mount Lozère in the North and Mount Aigoual in the South. Two thousand four hundred species have been identified in this national park, the only one to be inhabited in France. Anduze, Florac and Saint-Jean-du-Gard are not to be missed.
