Beauval Zoo is located in Saint-Aigan in the Loir-et-Cher region of France. Ranked as the 4th most beautiful zoo in the world, it is renowned for housing a pair of giant pandas and their offspring.

Discover the Beauval ZooPark during your camping holiday

Beauval Zoo presents more than 35,000 animals on 44 hectares. It has built its reputation by being the first animal park to present certain animals, and sometimes the only one in France, notably the giant panda, the koala and the Tasmanian devil. Beauval Zoo was the first park in France, and the 4th in Europe, to successfully breed the Giant Panda, with the birth of Yuan Meng in 2017 and two panda twins, Huanlili and Yuandudu, in 2021.

The ZooParc has about twenty territories to discover the animals in a setting close to their natural environment:

  • The greenhouses: choose from the equatorial dome, the Australian greenhouse, the gorilla greenhouse, the chimpanzee and orangutan greenhouse or the tropical birdhouse to see birds, great apes, sloths, reptiles, manatees and Australasian animals.
  • Plains allow the presentation of herbivores from the African savannah (giraffes, white rhinoceroses, wildebeests, antelopes), African elephants and Asian herbivores (Indian rhinoceroses, Malaysian tapirs, antelopes, etc.).
  • Among the other facilities of the park you will find the Chinese zone entitled "On the heights of China", where you will admire the famous giant pandas, but also red pandas, takins or snow panthers. There is also an African zone with the African Savannah, the Hippopotamus Reserve and the Land of the Lions, or the North American territory where you will discover brown bears and arctic wolves.
  • ou will also be able to access the two performance areas: the sea lion pool and the open-air theatre of the free-flying bird show.

To fully enjoy the park, don't hesitate to plan two days of visits...
