What to see in France

Museum of Contemporary Art of Bordeaux

Another idea for an outing during your camping holiday in the Gironde: the CAPC (Centre d'arts plastiques contemporains) or Musée d'Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, created in 1973 by Jean-Louis Froment, is located opposite the Garonne, in the Entrepôt Lainé, a former warehouse for colonial goods.

Visit the Bordeaux Museum of Contemporary Art during your camping holiday

The Musée d'Art Contemporain de Bordeaux: this beautiful 19th century pre-industrial building offers temporary exhibitions on the history of art, music and contemporary dance. Its collection is rich with a thousand creations dating from 1960 to today. Workshops and activities are offered to the public to help them understand the works. To deepen the discussion, meetings with artists, conferences, debates and concerts are organised in partnership with the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts and other cultural partners in the city.
