The year 2024 marks the great return of the International Kite Meetings which will take place in Berck-sur-Mer from April 20 to 28, 2023. With a minimum of 500,000 visitors per edition, sometimes up to a million, it is This is the biggest free event in the region. For ten days, gigantic birds, giant octopuses and other surprising flying creatures will invade the skies of Berck-sur-Mer. The magical, magical and dreamlike universe of the International Kite Meetings of Berck-sur-Mer will undoubtedly seduce the youngest spectators. For this 36th edition, Thailand and Indonesia will be in the spotlight, the country delegations will be made up of fighting kite champions, dancers and artists. They will make you discover their customs and their worlds.
If the meeting is a popular event that attracts crowds, it nonetheless remains a global competition. 10 nations will compete in high-level team shows where precision, control and execution of figures are evaluated as much as the originality, complexity and rhythm of the performance, to hope to win the title of champion of the world.
8 days of entertainment and shows in the sky of Berck
Each day will be punctuated by choreographic ballets to music, presented by all the pilots. An exceptional novelty will also be there with a brand new international acrobatic kite competition "The world Kite Cup Berck-sur-Mer". The best pilots in the world, from 10 nations, will perform technical and artistic feats in order to win the title of acrobatic kite world champion.
Free activities, including construction workshops and initiations, will be accessible to children. An initiatory tour in Les Jardins d’Eole will be offered to you. Dedicated to learning sound, made from recycled materials and orchestrated by the God Aeolus. The public is invited to come and make a wish and then hang it on the mesh of the fishing net which stretches out over its entire length. At the end of the event, the latter will take flight to close this Berckois parenthesis.

Simultaneous
Octopus Flight:
Once again this year, the challenge will be launched to fly around forty octopuses simultaneously in the sky of Berck-sur-Mer, a world record which can only be beaten with excellent weather conditions. Germany, Holland, Italy, the R-Sky Event team as well as Yvonig Huet and his collaborators will try to beat this record.
Traditional entertainment:

The Heroes' Village:
Children will be able to discover the Cartoon Village, a space where the stars of the biggest cartoons "Mario, Spiderman, Batman, Pinocchio, the Smurfs..." will be brought together. They will be able to pose with their heroes and immortalize this magical moment with a selfie !
