Since 3 May and the end of the travel restrictions, it is once again possible to get away to the campsite of your choice. However, conditions are still limited to national constraints, such as the respect of the curfew, and the closure of swimming pools, bars and restaurants. A progressive timetable has been announced by the government and from 19 May, campsites will be able to offer some of their services and facilities again.
Swimming pools to reopen
If the sanitary conditions allow it, the outdoor pools could open from 19 May. This is excellent news, which will allow campers to enjoy the pools, lagoons, counter-current rivers, water slides... In short, all the campsites' outdoor water park!
The indoor swimming pools could open from 9 June with a capacity of 35%, and 100% from 30 June. So you can make the most of these facilities in the low season and during your summer camping holidays.
The restaurants, at last!
We have missed it in recent months: sitting in a restaurant and enjoying a moment of relaxation. It would be a shame not to experience these privileged moments during our holidays too. Fortunately, as in the rest of France, the outdoor terraces of restaurants and bars could open from 19 May, with a maximum of 6 people per table and seat.
At the same time, the indoor rooms of the restaurants could welcome guests from 19 May, but only for customers living on the campsite.
A dedicated sanitary protocol will be prepared before the opening.
To be continued...
The FNHPA, Fédération nationale de l'Hôtellerie de plein-air, has announced that consultation work will be carried out in the next few days to specify the operating conditions for campsites from 19 May, 9 June and 30 June 2021. Without a doubt, the measures announced will allow this summer to also take advantage of the entertainment and shows offered by the campsites.
