The Village beach has an appealing family atmosphere and modern facilities, while the beaches at the northern end of Port-Barcarès, near the mouth of the Agly, offer a wilder setting, popular with lovers of nature and tranquillity.

The Les Déferlantes electronic music festival sets the Lydia gardens alight at the start of the summer (26-29 June 2025), attracting thousands of festival-goers to the Mediterranean coast.
