What to see in France

Historial de la Vendée: a museum for children

Located in Les Lucs-sur-Boulogne, the Historial de la Vendée is a pleasant museum, with modern architecture and a green roof, which can be visited with the whole family.

Visit the Historial de la Vendée during your camping holiday

Here you can discover the history of the Vendée, prehistory and the beginning of the 21st century. Children enjoy the 300 m² space, where they discover the world of the sea while having fun.

The rest of the museum is devoted to history, but always in a playful way. We meet Neolithic hunters. We stroll through a Gallo-Roman street. Then you can talk to the humanists of the Renaissance or visit a village from the last century. Children aged between four and ten can also celebrate their birthday in the museum, with a different theme proposed according to their age. In short, a very attractive programme for young and old.
