Visit the gardens of Marqueyssac during your camping holiday

The gardens of Marqueyssac, composed exclusively of hundred-year-old boxwoods, are set on a rocky spur overlooking the Dordogne valley at an altitude of 192 metres. The site offers more than six kilometres of paths. You can walk through a fragrant and shady labyrinth formed by 150,000 boxwood trees cut into hedges, balls and even bells. The boxwoods provide privacy for visitors, who can learn about the flora and fauna of the area from the extensive signposting. The park of the 18th century castle is a private domain and a listed site for almost all of its hectares.
