Camping holidays are the perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy their stay to the full: parents can relax while their children have fun and discover new activities. Mini clubs are designed to offer younger children age-appropriate activities in safe spaces supervised by qualified activity leaders.

Depending on the campsite, there are different types of clubs: mini clubs for children, baby clubs for toddlers, and teen clubs for pre-teens. Although not all campsites offer all three, each one adds a fun and educational dimension to the camping holiday. Kids' clubs are an integral part of campsite entertainment. Discover them!

The mini-club welcomes children, generally aged 4 to 10 or 12, in dedicated areas, sometimes organised like a small neighbourhood within the campsite with games rooms, creative corners and secure access to facilities. The activities are designed to stimulate children's curiosity and imagination while allowing them to burn off energy. You will find these mini clubs at Les 1000 pépites***** campsite in Mauguio and Californie Plage**** campsite in Vias, among our selection of campsites with mini clubs for children throughout France.

Creative and craft activities

Creative workshops are at the heart of the mini club's programmes. Children can learn about painting, jewellery making, crafts or seasonal themed activities. These moments allow them to develop their imagination while promoting concentration and patience. Illustration: La Ferme**** campsite in Lathuile

Some campsites offer nature discovery activities such as walks in the countryside or on the beach, and gardening workshops, for example at Le Havre de Bernières**** campsite in Bernières-sur-Mer...

At some campsites, activity leaders take children to explore the campsite's mini farm, such as at Village Le Domaine d'Inly***** in Pénestin or Ferme des 4 Chênes*** in Urt, where they can observe, feed and care for animals in a safe and fun environment.

Baby clubs, crèche options

Baby clubs, designed for toddlers aged 0 to 3, are still relatively rare in French campsites. However, some establishments have chosen to offer this service for the convenience of families.

For example, the Esterel Caravaning***** campsite in Agay offers a baby club for children aged 4 months to 3 years, supervised by a qualified nursery nurse, offering early learning and motor skills activities.

Similarly, the Le Fief***** campsite in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins and the Domaine de la Bergerie***** in Roquebrune-sur-Argens have baby clubs for children aged 18 months to 3 years, with activities adapted to the children's ages and supervised by early childhood professionals.

Although there is usually a charge for this service, campsites offering baby clubs are a real boon for families with young children, as they allow parents to enjoy the campsite facilities while knowing that their baby is in good hands.

Teen clubs, friends and fun for young people

For older children, the teen club offers more dynamic and group activities, often outdoors or in suitable facilities such as multi-sports campgrounds and aquatic areas. Teenagers can take part in sports tournaments, water games or fun workshops that encourage creativity and interaction between young people. These clubs provide a space for socialising where young people can meet up, challenge each other and make new friends, while making the most of the campsite's facilities.

Evening entertainment

The activities don't stop when night falls. The lively evenings are designed to bring the whole family together in a fun atmosphere. Children can take part in mini discos with the mascot, perform the shows they have prepared at the mini club, listen to bedtime stories, or have fun at foam parties organised at the main pool. These festive moments perfectly complement the days spent at the club and reinforce the friendly atmosphere of the campsite.

Whatever the type of club, activity leaders play a central role in the success of the activities. They are trained to supervise children, stimulate their creativity and ensure their safety throughout the campsite, whether in the mini club, the baby room, the playgrounds or the swimming pool. Their presence reassures parents and allows children to enjoy an enriching and fun holiday. Illustration: Médoc Plage***** campsite in Vendays-Montalivet.

Conclusion

Children enjoy a variety of supervised activities, discover new passions and create unforgettable memories, while parents can relax and enjoy their stay to the full.
