This summer, you're going camping and thinking of renting a mobile home, but you don't yet know which campsite to choose. Don't worry: we'll help you find the ideal campsite, with (or without) a water park, in a tent or in a campsite rental!

How do I choose a campsite by theme?

Choosing a campsite by theme is one way of ensuring you find the establishment that best meets your expectations.

Consult a wide range of campsite themes to select the ideal campsite in which to rent a mobile home and reserve your pitch for a tent or camper van.

Should I choose a 4 or 5-star campsite for my next holiday?

The choice between a 4 or 5 star campsite depends on a number of factors:

Firstly, your expectations in terms of comfort. 5-star campsites generally offer more luxurious services, such as more upmarket leisure facilities (e.g. swimming pools, fitness rooms, spas) and multiple services. It's worth noting that the biggest campsite water parks are to be found at 4 and 5 star campsites, and all the better for it: our children love them!

On the other hand, 4-star campsites offer a more traditional experience, while maintaining a high quality of service.

Secondly, price can be a deciding factor. 5-star campsites are generally more expensive than 4-star campsites.

Finally, the size of the pitches can also be a criterion. 5-star campsites tend to have larger, more comfortable pitches, and more space around your mobile home or caravan if you choose to rent a campsite.

You need to weigh up all these different factors to make the choice that best suits your expectations for your next holiday.

Why not choose a 2 or 3 star campsite?

Well, if you don't tick the boxes in the previous paragraph, you should know that a 2-star or 3-star campsite could be an excellent choice:

  • Smaller campsites on a human scale, for greater proximity and conviviality.
  • The services are more limited than in 4-star or 5-star campsites, but they can still meet your expectations: a swimming pool, a children's club, aquagym classes, sometimes housekeeping in your accommodation...
  • On the whole, the 2 and 3 star campsites offer you an authentic camping experience, in the peace and quiet of the heart of nature.

Can I go camping with my pet?

If you're renting, you should be aware that more and more campsites are no longer allowing pets in mobile homes, chalets and bungalows. At best, you won't be able to leave your dog alone and - of course - you'll have to keep it on a lead inside the campsite. Be sure to check with the campsite before planning a camping holiday with your dog.
