Why go camping in Brittany? #climate

In Brittany, it rains all the time. In Brittany, it is cold. But is it really true? What if, on the contrary, a temperate climate is a good argument for your next camping holiday?

In the French imagination, Brittany is known to be particularly rainy. And cold.

However, this is far from being the case: thanks to its temperate oceanic climate, the temperature approaches 20 to 25°C on average in the afternoon in summer, particularly on the coasts of Morbihan and the Côtes d'Armor. So pleasant temperatures for a summer holiday.

In Brittany, it is much cooler than in the south

Of course, during your camping holiday in Brittany, you won't have a climate worthy of the tropics, but at least you won't be too hot: in this period where every summer has more or less long heat waves, the possibility of 'breathing' during your holiday is a real argument!

In recent years, many people have been fleeing the south of France to take refuge in the mildness of Brittany. This was without counting on the summer of 2022, when we experienced a "Mediterraneanisation" of Brittany, a weather that should remain exceptional.
