🌍 A diverse range of animals to discover
Branféré’s great strength lies in its ability to bring together wildlife and freedom of expression. Tigers, cheetahs, lemurs, penguins, macaws, pelicans, tapirs and even white-nosed coatis roam in vast spaces designed to respect their natural needs. The park is organised into large themed zones, allowing visitors to travel the world without leaving Brittany and to move from one continent to another in just a few steps.
- South American zone: tapirs, peccaries, white-nosed coatis, giant anteaters and capybaras. The enclosures promote the animals’ well-being and natural behaviour, and certain species are monitored as part of ethological studies.
- African area: cheetahs, zebras, ostriches and monkeys roam freely in large semi-natural enclosures.
- Asian Zone: Sumatran tigers, red pandas and lemurs.
- European zones: deer, fallow deer and wild boar roam in semi-freedom, visible from the footpaths or on a drive-through safari.
- Educational mini-farm: sheep, goats and chickens allow younger visitors to get up close to the animals and discover life on the farm.
Each zone is equipped with educational panels explaining the animals’ habitats, behaviour and associated conservation programmes, ensuring a visit that is both fun and informative.
