Located in Pas-de-Calais, in the heart of the Hauts-de-France region, Le Touquet-Paris-Plage is an iconic seaside resort that has been attracting families in search of nature, relaxation and seaside leisure activities for generations. With its huge sandy beaches, national forest ideal for cycling, and its elegant yet friendly atmosphere, Le Touquet offers the perfect setting for a camping holiday. Whether you stay in a tent, a mobile home or comfortable accommodation, the campsite allows you to make the most of the natural treasures and numerous activities on offer in this family destination par excellence.

Did you know? Why is it called "Le Touquet-Paris-Plage"?

Originally, Le Touquet was just a natural area of dunes and forests located at the mouth of the Canche river in the Pas-de-Calais department. At the end of the 19th century, the site began to be developed into a seaside resort. To attract the Parisian upper classes, a visionary developer added "Paris-Plage" to the name, suggesting that the sea was only a few hours away from the capital.

In 1912, the town officially adopted the name Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, combining nature and elegance with a touch of clever marketing. Even today, although it is often simply referred to as "Le Touquet", it is the full name that recalls the unique history of this resort unlike any other.
