It offers a wide range of activities: pétanque, table tennis, aquagym, shows and a kids' club for 4-12-year-olds. Accommodation includes fully equipped mobile homes and shaded pitches. There is also a lake for fishing or canoeing, a laundrette, bike hire and a barbecue area. A free shuttle bus runs to Sainte-Cécile beach, and sites such as Canche Bay and Opalaventure Park are nearby. The campsite is open from May to September.

Camping Le Phare d'Opale, 100 metres from the beach

Le Phare d'Opale ** campsite, located on top of a cliff in Portel on the Opal Coast, 14 km from Neufchâtel-Hardelot, offers superb views of the English Channel and is only 100 metres from the beach. This family-friendly campsite offers pitches for tents or caravans as well as mobile homes on an 8-hectare site. On site, you can enjoy activities such as pétanque, table tennis, a games room, entertainment for all ages and a kids' club for 4-12-year-olds. Services include a bar, snack bar, bread delivery, convenience store, sheet and towel hire, baby kit, barbecue and plancha grill, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi. Le Portel, 5 km from Boulogne-sur-Mer, is ideal for excursions to seaside sites, cliffs and fishing villages. The campsite is open from April to September.

Camping Muncipal La Falaise in Equihem by the sea

The La Falaise *** municipal campsite is ideally located just 150 metres from the beach, between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Le Touquet, and only 11 km from Neufchâtel. Set in 10 hectares of green space, it offers 336 comfortable pitches with electricity, sanitation and modern sanitary facilities. The setting, the breathtaking view of the Opal Coast and the vast expanse of fine sand make it the perfect place for families and those who enjoy walks by the sea. The rental park comprises 27 mobile homes and 8 "Quilles en l'air" (upside-down houses), one of which is suitable for people with reduced mobility. Hardelot Castle and its green setting

A true architectural gem of the Pas-de-Calais, the Château d'Hardelot stands majestically in the heart of the Condette Marshes Regional Nature Reserve. Its unique neo-Tudor style bears witness to the rich Franco-British relations throughout the centuries.

Heritage and hiking at Mont Saint-Frieux

Mont Saint-Frieux rises majestically to a height of 152 metres, offering exceptional views of the English Channel and the English coast. This unique natural site harmoniously combines dunes and chalk hills, creating a remarkable landscape on the Opal Coast.

Hikers can explore seven marked trails, including the famous Pomme d'Or trail, which winds for 1.6 kilometres through lush vegetation. The Chablis trail, which is more challenging at 3.5 kilometres, offers breathtaking views of the coastline.

The pine forest, planted to stabilise the dunes, is home to a rich biodiversity. The most curious visitors may spot a grey heron or a wild orchid along the path.
