A week to experience Bormes-les-Mimosas in a different light
With this inaugural event, Camp du Domaine aims to make the most of the mild late-season weather to offer its guests a different kind of experience.
The idea is to venture off the beaten track and meet the people who bring the town and its surroundings to life. Meetings, tours, tastings and small-group activities will punctuate this week, which is all about community and sharing.
A programme combining heritage, nature and gastronomy
Several highlights are planned from 12 to 17 October.
Participants will, in particular, be able to enjoy an exclusive tour of Fort de Brégançon, set sail around Port-Cros and Le Levant, or meet the artisans of Bormes.
Local cuisine and produce will also take centre stage with a visit to a honey farm, an immersive experience at a vineyard and an introduction to wine tasting.
Another much-anticipated event is the Grand Banquet Provençal, designed as a convivial occasion celebrating the region’s flavours and traditions.
Further activities will round off this programme centred on heritage, nature and Provençal culture.
Exclusive experiences in small groups
For this special week, Camp du Domaine has opted for intimate group sizes. The various outings and events will therefore be organised in small groups to encourage interaction and allow for a genuine immersion in the local culture.
For many activities, the cost of participation is covered by Camp du Domaine, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy these events to the full at no extra cost.
An event that resonates with a special year
This first ‘Week of Discoveries’ comes as Bormes-les-Mimosas has been voted the French people’s favourite village for 2026.
This accolade highlights the town’s identity and heritage, whilst also reinforcing Camp du Domaine’s desire to showcase the treasures surrounding its site.
Through this initiative, the campsite aims to forge a more direct link between its visitors and the destination, giving them the chance to meet the producers, craftspeople and enthusiasts who contribute to its character.
