International Agricultural Show 2024

Held in Paris at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, the Salon International de l'Agriculture is an annual exhibition showcasing the agricultural industry, its various techniques and its specialities. It is also France's biggest agricultural show for the general public.

At the next Salon de l'Agriculture, to be held from 24 February to 3 March 2024 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, you'll be able to meet 1,000 livestock farmers and around 4,000 animals from 378 breeds. Every year, more than 600,000 visitors come to the show to find out more about agriculture, plant growing and livestock farming, as well as the culinary delights associated with farming.

The show celebrates its 60th edition

Like every year, the Salon de l'Agriculture is determined to surprise us. For its 60th edition, we can expect even more surprises than usual. On the theme of transmission "between retrospective and prospective", we are expecting a fine programme over the nine days of the show.

Oreillette, the new SIA ambassador cow

Oreillette, aged 5, has become the muse of the forthcoming Salon de l'Agriculture. Her breeders hope that "a spotlight that will raise awareness of the profession of breeder and of the Normandy breed from which she comes". Oreillette comes from a farm in the Orne region and was reared on 155 hectares of land with hundreds of other dairy cows.

The programme for Salon 2024

Spread throughout the exhibition centre, here are the different sectors of the Show that you will find from 24 February to help you find your way around, depending on what you are looking for:

-Livestock and livestock farming: this is where the agricultural competitions take place, including the famous Concours Général Agricole. Farm animals are entered in 5 different categories: Cattle, horses, dogs and cats, animals of the world and farmyard animals. The best local products are also rewarded here, including chocolate, foie gras and wines...

-Products from the regions of France and around the world: You'll find plenty of restaurants and craft products from all over the world here, making it the perfect place to take your taste buds on a journey!

-The crops and plant sectors offer all the products that can be grown in France, as well as gardening and field crops.

-Agricultural services and trades: the leaders in the world of agriculture. This is the place to go if you're interested in farming as a career.

A living room that's child-friendly

Did you know that the Salon de l'Agriculture is also a not-to-be-missed event for children? Pony-riding, treasure hunts on the theme of food and the environment, quizzes and even an educational farm where they can discover farm animals.
