Although Paris, the City of Light, may overshadow its neighbours, there are plenty of other reasons to go on holiday to Ile-de-France. The Château de Versailles and Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte are just two such reasons.

For a camping holiday in Ile-de-France, head to the forest of Saint-Germain or to the Chevreuses Valley. But of course, Ile-de-France also encompasses Paris. Visit the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower before going for a picturesque stroll along the banks of the Seine.
